Reporting directly to the Finance Controller, your duties will include:
*Preparation of month end accounts through to completion
*Producing balance sheet reviews monthly/quarterly
*Ensuring compliance and key controls are adhered to
*Mentoring/supporting junior finance staff
*Liaising with senior board members and managerial staff, ensuring finance processes are running smoothly
*Ensuring efficient and accurate production and reporting of accounts
*Managing and developing financial systems and policies
*Controlling and forecasting company income and expenditure
*Great communication with senior stake holders across sales, marketing and IT; presenting financial information to those none finance areas
*VAT returns.
Candidate Requirements:
*Ideally, be actively studying towards qualifications (ACCA/CIMA)
*Have excellent communication skills
*Strong career achievements in a management accountant position
*Ability to use excel to an advanced level.
Ideally, you will be studying towards your CIMA/ACCA qualification with previous experience within an accountancy-based role and be able to demonstrate strong career achievements and the willingness to learn and develop new and existing skills.
