Working directly with the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
*Preparation of month end accounts, carrying them through to completion.
*Mentoring/supporting Junior staff.
*Developing and managing financial systems and policies.
*Controlling and forecasting company income against the expenditure.
*Commercial input so will need to communicate well with senior staff across a variety of departments.
*Over-sea implementation of a variety of processes and procedures
*Taking part and managing/developing major projects.
*Creating and implementing business strategies to generate company value.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
*CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
*Previous experience within a management accounts position.
*Managing/mentoring finance teams/individuals in current or previous roles.
*Experience within manufacturing, food, engineering, retail or other similar industries.
Ideally you will be a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or studying towards this with the ambition to complete your qualification; partnering with the ability to demonstrate strong career achievements to date within a management accountant/financial accountant position.
