Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established and well-known Sheffield based business that specialises in the service industry across the UK. This fast paced and large, growing business is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a career minded individual who enjoys communicating to internally and external stakeholders to take the next step in their career, which will allow them to gain exposure to all areas of management accounts and the specialist service the business provides.
This role will develop the individual into a well-rounded management accountant within a successful and growing nationwide business, alongside accommodating growth/development for the right individual.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
*Producing accurate monthly and annual accounts
*Accruals and Pre-Payments
*Production of cashflow and other reports when requested by the stakeholders
*Assisting with bank reconciliations
*Liaising with external accountants and filing of company year-end accounts
*Provision of required information to internal stakeholders as and when required
*Producing accurate budget reviews
*Provide all required information to external accountants
*Liaising with the stakeholders to help produce budgets
*Producing invoices
*Managing credit control and ensuring all debts are collected
*Maintaining records
*Authorising expenditure
*Overseeing purchase ledger function and assisting if necessary
*Report and assist senior accountants and head of accounts when requested.
*Meet with external and internal stakeholders
*Other ad-hoc duties as required
