Legal Cashier

Job description

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent firm with a brilliant presence in the local area. They are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

The main duties of this role will include:

–Assist the firm with accounts queries

–Process daily financial payments, receipts and transfers

–Perform daily end balancing procedures

–Maintain and file all necessary documentation

–Process Switch and Credit Card Payments

–Banking

–Petty cash payments

–Petty cash balancing

–Bankline payments

–LFS payments

–Deposit interest calculations

–Purchase ledger – coding, input and cheque production

–Monitoring flow of incoming work, check and verify ready for posting

Skills and experience:

–Experience working in a similar role (2+ years)

–Ability to communicate effectively with people from within and outside the business

–Good communication skills both written and verbal

–High level of organisation

£25,000 - £30,000

9-5 Monday to Friday

25 days holiday + Bank holidays + 2 days Christmas shut down
