 Join a Respected Legal Finance Team in Bradford

Our client, a well-known and trusted business located in the heart of Bradford, is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to become a key part of their established team.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital role in managing the firm’s financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy across all transactions. Duties include:

  • Completing bank reconciliations and managing out-of-date cheques
  • Identifying, allocating, and posting incoming receipts (electronic and manual)
  • Banking office and client account receipts
  • Checking and inputting CHAPS payments via Bankline
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Preparing cheque payments and distributing to fee earners
  • Posting bills and client-to-office transfers
  • Handling internal and external queries promptly
  • Managing petty cash payments and reconciliations
  • Assisting with filing and general administration
  • Ensuring all client transactions comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Inputting purchase ledger details and office disbursements
  • Producing accurate Excel spreadsheets as required
  • Processing staff expenses monthly
  • Supporting fee earners with queries on a daily basis

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
