You will take a senior position within the team producing monthly financial reports including profit and loss accounts as well as cash flow forecasts and budget report analysis, alongside presenting financial information to senior stakeholders of the business. Supporting and delivering timely, accurate and compliant third-party stakeholder plc external reporting, including Environment, Social and Governance disclosures, Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures, insurance compliance, bank covenants and facilities compliance, pensions covenants compliance.
Reporting Directly into the Finance Controller you will be responsible for:
*Consolidation of weekly short term cash flow forecasts
*Give Treasury updates (daily UK bank balances updates)
*Produce monthly debtor and sales, reporting to credit insurer
*Produce site financial control and balance sheet reviews
*Regular reviews od group finance manual and update to ensure IFRS compliant
*Internal Audit and Controls review
*Support Group Statutory Accounts processes, including subsidiary accounts & tax accounts support
*Support Finance team in other development projects, e.g. Enterprise Resource Planning finance migration and development of new consolidation, analysis and reporting tools.
*Lead the preparation of Statutory Accounts for all UK entities and liaison with auditors to ensure complete in line with deadlines
*Leading major finance projects whilst liaising with both the Finance Controller and the Finance Director to ensure an appropriate and consistent approach to new and existing financial standards are met.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with previous strong experiences within relatable finance position/s.
*Keen to develop your career towards Financial Controller
*Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
