Group Accountant

Job description

​An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) to join a dynamic and fast-growing business in a key group finance role. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple entities, producing consolidated financial reports, and supporting audit and technical accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee group statutory reporting and regulatory compliance (IFRS/UK GAAP)

  • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and annual audits

  • Provide technical accounting guidance across the group (including IFRS16, IR35, tax)

  • Support acquisition accounting and integration into group reporting

  • Maintain robust internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement

Ideal Candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with strong technical accounting expertise

  • Experience in a group reporting or audit environment

  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset

  • Collaborative team player with the ambition to grow and make an impact
