​A leading insurance brokerage is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join its busy finance team based in Yeadon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent insurance brokers and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the purchase ledger and inputting supplier invoices

  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations

  • Processing staff expenses and company credit cards

  • Preparing manual payments for ad hoc bank transfers

  • Raising sales invoices, posting receipts, and reconciling customer accounts

  • Carrying out monthly bank reconciliations

  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures

  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks

The ideal Finance Administrator will have:

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive and professional approach to learning and development

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • A positive, friendly attitude and ability to work well in a team

  • Confidence to liaise with colleagues across different functions
