FP&A Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy is excited to partner with a dynamic, growth-oriented PE-backed business based in Sheffield, as they seek to appoint a FP&A Management Accountant.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced financial professional to take on a pivotal role within a high-growth, fast-paced environment, providing essential insights that will directly influence the strategic direction of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working collaboratively with key departments to align financial goals with business objectives.

  • Produce regular financial reports, including variance analysis, highlighting key trends and performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to senior management.

  • Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.

  • Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date forecasts and business KPIs to track performance against strategic goals.

  • Partner with commercial teams to provide financial insights for new business opportunities, projects, and initiatives.

  • Work closely with the Finance Director to prepare for board meetings, presenting financial results, analysis, and forecasts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvements to financial processes and systems.

  • Act as a key business partner to non-financial stakeholders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.

 

What we are looking for:

  • ACCA or CIMA Qualified or finalist

  • Proven experience in FP&A, Management Accounting or Business Partnering

  • Experience with Power BI

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong Excel skills
