FP&A – Analyst

​A Leeds-based retail company is looking to grow its finance team with the addition of an FP&A Analyst. In this pivotal role, you'll support senior finance leaders by producing detailed financial reports and providing commercial insight to help drive performance across the business. As a key member of the finance function, you'll regularly engage with department heads to deliver meaningful financial information that supports strategic decision-making.

We’re seeking someone with experience in commercial finance who’s ready to take the next step in a forward-thinking and customer-focused business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve financial and business performance

  • Working closely with senior management, with a focus on specific product lines or customer groups to understand their commercial impact

  • Supporting monthly and quarterly financial planning and forecasting

  • Acting as a business partner to senior stakeholders by delivering performance insights

  • Providing regular financial reporting and monitoring key retail KPIs

  • Assisting in the development of commercial models and business cases for new initiatives

  • Supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting tools

  • Delivering ad-hoc financial analysis and advice

  • Taking on other finance-related duties as required

Ideal candidates will have a background in commercial finance and be either part-qualified (with no more than two exams remaining) or fully qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing retail brand and make a real impact across the business.
