Sharp Consultancy are working in exclusive partnership with a highly reputable and fast growing SME client, who are a niche provider of specialist services within a high growth period for the business.
As part of the business growth and large investment projects our client now needs to bring in a lead across finance, reporting directly into the CFO
You will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, and be the main lead for day to day finance, with responsibility for a small finance team and key duties will include;
- Commercial analysis and board level reporting and delivery
- Control of the accounts process
- MI and forecasting, including cashflow
- Strategic guidance and operational direction
- Team management
- Process improvement
- Development of systems and models to produce relevant information
- Greater control around key external relationships including auditors, banks and insurers
The package is very competitive, with a flexible or hybrid working environment should it be needed and the location is a very easy commute, based close to the M1 in Rotherham.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant and have the necessary people skills and commercial ability to blend technical know how with stake holder guidance and leadership
This is a strong market leader and you will be working within an SME entrepreneurial owner managed business. Any experience in a growth environment would be highly beneficial but not essential.
