International retail/manufacturing business based in Halifax currently requires an experienced ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified Finance Manager/Financial Controller in what will be an integral role within the finance team.
The company has seen growth by acquisition as well as organic development and now needs further senior support within the accounts function to assist with future expansion.
Working directly with both the Finance Director and Managing Director your duties will include:
*Managing the finance function day to day assigning duties in line with your assessment of performance as well as hiring and developing within the team.
*Full overview of the accounts process through to board pack presenting to FD for final board submission.
*Produce robust accounts information to senior stake holders challenging and developing areas to improve profitability.
*Liaise with external auditors, banks and investors to build positive and smooth communication lines.
*Work with the Finance Director to set and agree annual budgets in line with company projections.
*Contribute to the production of the annual statutory accounts ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:
*CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification.
*Proven experience within a senior accounts position. Preferably at Finance Manager/Financial Controller although consideration will be given to strong achievers within management accounts/financial accounts roles.
*Desire to challenge and influence across finance and none finance areas to drive improved performance.
