A new opportunity to join a global organisation as a Financial Controller, this opportunity gives real breadth of scope and chance to really understand the financial performance of the business across its regional operations.
Working closely with the heads of departments and the FD this role will involve:
*Ensure all consolidated regional cost performance reports are prepared accurately and on time
*Control of regional Inbound and Outbound Logistics Costs
*Ensure all key variances are explained and reconciled to other prime reports
*Interface with Global Headquarters and other key customers within the region
*Presentation of results to the management team
*Drive continued improvement, standardisation and automation of reporting & processes across the regional entities
*Work with Supply Chain Management and other functions to report in accordance with Global Headquarters requests, accounting standards and group policies
*Provide support to Projects as required
*Any other duties as directed by Management

Ideally you will have:

*Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
*Ability to present data in a clear and structured manner
*Positive and flexible attitude in supporting the team in achieving tight deadlines
*Challenging and flexible mindset. Strive for continuous improvement
*Strong spreadsheet (Excel) skills. Database / PowerPoint / SAP advantageous
*Confident communicator; comfortable in dealing with colleagues based across Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania (no language requirements).

An ability to work effectively with colleagues is essential for this role - as is a structured approach to transforming significant amounts of data into clear, cohesive analysis. It is therefore equally suitable for a skilled management accountant; or for someone in practice looking to progress their career with an industry leader.
