This role ideally suits an experienced candidate, where being qualified is not a pre-requisite, who has ambitions of continuing to grow and take on further responsibility as time progresses alongside a pro active mindset and keen to get stuck into the detail and make improvements.
No previous line management is necessary for this role which will offer the opportunity to lead a small team coupled with a more diverse position, with added responsibilities and ownership.
Key responsibilities include:
*Day to day management of the finance team and systems
*Production of the monthly management accounts
*Support the annual budget process and any re-forecasting activity
*Support Senior Management with the Group consolidation
*Responsible for the short term cash flow forecast for business and group
*Maintain and improve the ERP system to streamline monthly reporting
*Identify areas for improvement in the internal control environment and propose plans to develop these areas
*Support the wider team and develop young team
*Assist with annual accounts preparation, audit and tax compliance
