Your duties will include but not be limited to:
*Additional ad hoc duties as required.
*To be responsible for the functional maintenance of all administration aspects of the financial systems within the business, such as Sage and the CPM software.
*To provide first line support to the finance function, both in the UK and in Europe.
*To liaise with IT department team-members to ensure that they are aware of (and progress) all aspects of Security Maintenance for the above.
*To work in conjunction with IT department to ensure that user security is set in accordance with company policies and that staff changes are notified in a timely manner.
*To support team members in testing and scheduling system upgrades as and when needed.
*To ensure that all documentation in relation to finance systems configuration and supporting business processes is up to date and available.
*To work with the wider business, providing training on systems and support to new Practices.
*To continually review and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the system.
*To work closely with the Systems Accountant.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
*AAT qualified or/and studying towards to an ACCA/CIMA qualification or qualified by experience.
*Previous experience of administering finance systems.
*Ability to challenge existing procedures and practices and find opportunities to work smarter.
*Competent user of MS Excel.
*Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
*Able to prioritise work based on deadlines.
*Attention to detail in all aspects of the role
