Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be appointed as the recruitment partner for a highly successful business in Doncaster in sourcing an experienced Finance Manager to join the organisation and their Senior Management Team.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting, including managing a team and will suit a commercially astute and strategic thinker with the ability to present findings to people across departments.
This is an all-encompassing position and includes Operational responsibilities that can add genuine value within a successful SME in what is a pivotal role within the company including monitoring of business performances and identification of potential operational efficiencies with recommendations and improvements to procedures.
This opportunity would suit an experienced and proven Finance Manager who is comfortable reporting into Company Directors and happy to take ownership of the accounting function.
The role:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Cash flow management
* Provide operational/Financial reports
* Costing and selling process review
* Annual budget preparation
* Assist in the preparation of the Annual Accounts
* Line management of 4
* Point of contact for all internal and external audit procedures
* Maintain daily control of supervision of the treasury flow for both payments and receivables
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Fixed asset management including depreciation
The Individual:
* Strong ability to communicate and experience with dealing with challenging situations
* Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the team
* Methodical and disciplined in approach to achieving goals
* Excellent communications skills and experience with dealing with challenging situations
* Ability to make balanced and informed decisions
