A leading SME manufacturing organisation located in South Yorkshire and looking to recruit a Qualified by Experience (QBE) Finance Manager to their growing team and business. Through growth, our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager, ideally with SME manufacturing experience who will be responsible for all aspects of the company's day to day financial tasks and will report to the company director.
The salary offered will be within the range of £35,000 to £45,000, with a full range of benefits. The ideal applicant will be qualified by experience having worked independently in a similar accounting/finance role, with experience in the manufacturing sector being preferred but not essential and a background of working independently in small organisations again preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
*Production of invoices and month end report - working to a monthly deadline.
*Preparation of standard format monthly management accounts for the board
*Data input in accounts system
*Cash Flow management and reporting using Sage
*Debtor Management - strong Credit Control
*Payments - external to Suppliers and internal Expenses
*HMRC submissions including VAT / PAYE etc.
*Posting and reconciling the banking.
*Managing the card payment system and reconciling card payments.
*Ownership of the balance sheet, including preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
*Supervision and training of accounts assistant.
*Assisting the external accountants and auditors with the preparation of the annual financial statements and annual audit.
