Sharp Consultancy are truly delighted to be working in partnership with a leading specialist manufacturer as their recruitment partner in adding an ambitious Finance Manager to their growing finance team.

Under the guidance of the current Financial Controller, you will be hands-on with company finances and a developing level of commercial awareness. The key aim of the role is to own and manage the accounting function for the division, and to support the Financial Controller in establishing a robust and transparent finance function.

This role suits a (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) qualified individual who has ambitions of continuing to grow and take on further responsibility as time progresses alongside a proactive mindset and keen to get stuck into the detail and make improvements.

Stakeholder management is key, and as such you will need the ability to communicate at all levels and in varying situations and cope well under pressure.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Ownership and preparation of monthly management accounts for the division, including analysis on revenue and margins and other variance analysis and commentary
* Preparation and review of 13-week cash forecast - explaining variances and presenting consolidated position in weekly meetings
* Preparation of fortnightly WIP management report
* Responsibility for the preparation and submission of all divisional VAT returns
* Organisation and leadership of stock-takes and stock reconciliations, investigation of variances and escalation of matters as required
* Responsible for review of all Balance Sheet account reconciliations and development of internal control procedures as necessary
* Provide day to day financial support to the senior management teams and provide guidance when required
* Supplier payment management

Person Spec:
* Stakeholder management experience advantageous and ability to influence
* Excellent planning, organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills
* Commercial focus / mindset
