Working directly with the Finance Director and alongside a variety of senior stakeholders across the business; your role will blend both the financial and commercial elements of finance including:
* Financial analysis, KPIs, monitoring and reporting.
* Financial support and interpretation to the business.
* Support and work alongside non-financial management.
* Strategic and decision-making models. Implementation of strategies.
* Business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments
* Control and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimisation
* Evaluation and appraisal of capex and contract approval requests
* Reconciliation of Global / EMEA data to local systems
* Work closely with the Finance Director and Managing Director to develop and improve commercial narrative and improve profitability.
* Support the senior management team in appraising and evaluating new business opportunities that align with ambitious growth plans.
* Provide training and support to junior team members developing your own experience in a management position.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
* Previous experience within audit/financial accounting within the profession OR Strong technical management accountant/financial accounting experience within fast paced dynamic organisations.
* Career focused and wanting to develop towards Financial Controller and beyond.
