Sharp Consultancy are working in partnership with a well-known manufacturer based in the Hull region as they look to appoint a new Finance Business Partner to join and lead the commercial process throughout the finance team and wider business.

Our client, a well-known leader within their sector have seen substantial year on year growth since 2018 with record profits delivered over the previous 12-month period.

Due to that growth the need for a leader across the commercial activities within the business from a financial perspective has become essential and you will be a key part of the decision-making process within the business stakeholders.

The role will support the current Finance Director and Managing Director by taking control and ownership of the commercial finance function, key duties will include.

Ownership of:
*The full board pack, including analysis and review for Directors/Owners
*Management information including clear understanding of costs and product profitability
*FP&A support, in particular modelling and processes improvements towards pricing and the sales structure
*Forecasting and re-forecasting
*Cash flow controls and reporting
*Profit analysis reports
*Ad hoc projects throughout a sustained period of business growth

As part of this role, you will also play a key role across the business as significant improvements to processes and systems are developed, in particular a more integrated system that will offer real time information.

You must have suitable working experience in a similar commercial role, ideally a qualified accountant and be able to commit to a 3 or 4 day week.

The client also offers a mixed working environment approach split between office and home / remote.

Strong communication skills will be essential as well as a commercial mindset.
The business is fast-paced and as such autonomy will be needed to ensure key decisions are made quickly, as such you must be comfortable in such an environment and be comfortable managing your own day to day activities
