Finance Business Partner

Job description

 An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established construction company for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Finance Business Partner to join their team.

 

They are seeking someone who enjoys the collaborative and relationship-building side of finance business partnering — someone who can develop strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders while also driving informed decision-making and maximising company profitability.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations, and Marketing, you will play a key role in supporting the business’s future growth and strategic direction.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a high-quality finance business partnering service to maximise profitability, value for money, and commercial opportunities.

  • Providing expert financial insight and advice, linking financial performance with wider business strategies.

  • Producing timely and relevant periodic reports tailored to the needs of key stakeholders.

  • Coaching and mentoring Management Accountants to enhance their financial and commercial awareness.

  • Demonstrating a strong customer focus by proactively anticipating and responding to business needs.

  • Identifying functional risks and opportunities.

  • Supporting the preparation of accurate annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

  • Advising the Management Accounts team on the preparation of year-end tax pack schedules in line with company guidelines.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualification.

  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role with exposure to stakeholder management.

  • Experience working within a multi-site or chain organisation would be advantageous.

  • A proven interest in improving accounting and financial processes.
