​We are partnering with a highly respected manufacturing business in Rotherham that is entering a significant and exciting period of transformation.

With a strong heritage in the region and a reputation for quality and innovation, the business is now embarking on a journey to modernise its operations, enhance commercial performance, and implement new systems and processes across the organisation.

This transformation includes a strong focus on improving financial visibility, embedding robust scenario modelling capabilities, and enabling more agile, data driven decision making across the business.

As a signal of the continued investment, this organisation is investing in new technologies and ERP systems, alongside reshaping its strategic planning processes to better respond to market dynamics and operational challenges.

They are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner who can play a central role in this journey supporting system implementation, leading scenario planning and modelling, and partnering with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to site leadership, supporting decision-making during a period of transformation.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning aligned to business change initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic planning and investment decisions.

  • Support system implementation projects, ensuring finance requirements are embedded and optimised.

  • Provide detailed analysis on manufacturing performance, including cost efficiency, margins, and productivity.

  • Support cost reduction programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders to drive better commercial outcomes.

  • Develop and enhance reporting to improve visibility and decision-making.

  • Play a key role in embedding new processes, systems, and ways of working.

  • Mentor and support wider finance team members through change.

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).

  • Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Proven track record in business partnering within a changing or transforming organisation.

  • Experience in scenario modelling, financial planning, and system implementation.

  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and influence.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and data tools is highly desirable.
