​A Wakefield-based marketing business is seeking to expand its accounts team with a Finance Business Partner position. In this role, you will support senior finance by preparing financial reports and providing commentary to assist the commercial team. As a vital member of the finance team, you will be responsible for regularly communicating financial information to department heads. Key responsibilities include collaborating with senior finance and the wider team to:

  • Proactively identify and highlight opportunities for improving business performance.

  • Work closely with senior management globally, focusing on a specific client portfolio while ensuring a deep understanding of the business and its commercial drivers.

  • Assist in financial planning on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to report on business performance.

  • Provide regular reports on financial performance and key business KPIs.

  • Assist with commercial modelling and business case development.

  • Support the overall effectiveness of the finance function.

  • Offer ad-hoc analysis, guidance, and support on financial performance and processes.

  • Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial finance and will either be part-qualified (with one or two exams remaining) or fully qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to have a significant impact on the business.
