The candidate's responsibilities will include:
* Liaise with Financial Controller on reconciliation of jobs.
* Staff expenses to be submitted and posted into finance system.
* Regular supplier / colleague contact by phone & email.
* Dealing with supplier queries and statement reconciliations
* Preparation of monthly accruals / prepayments.
* Other ad-hoc duties as requested.
* Taking incoming calls
* Resolving customer queries
* New customer creation and policy adherence
* Price change control
* Daily incoming post
* Update fixed asset registers and post depreciation
* Review P&L against budget
* Undertake cost saving exercises
* Month end preparation & journals
* Prepayments & Accruals
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Strong organisational & Communication skills.
* Being adaptable in managing personal workload, as well as working as a key member of the finance team.
* A desire to progress and develop within the business. Monthly reviews & planning sessions will take place to layout the growth.
* Punctual, presentable and with good attendance
