Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with this client with a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress to a Management Account role.
This is a full-time permanent position as a Finance Assistant to cover the transactional finance elements while training to replace the current Management Accountant in June 2022.
The role
*Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and processing Payroll.
*Sales Ledger
oMaintain Customer records
oCreate Invoices and allocate Remittances to Customer accounts
oLiaising with a Factoring Company on a day-to-day basis.
*Purchase Ledger
oMaintaining Supplier records
oPaying Suppliers correctly to terms.
*Nominal Ledger
*Monthly Management information.
*VAT Returns and PAYE Submissions and Intrastat reporting.
*Bank Reconciliation
*Payroll - Weekly and Monthly processing.
Required Experience
*Working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll.
*Advanced excel skills
*A friendly approach
*A flexible attitude to work
*Good communication skills
