EMEA Financial Controller

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to partner with a leading, internationally recognised services group in Sheffield to appoint a Financial Controller. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role has arisen at a pivotal time for the business following a successful international merger and a renewed focus on accelerated growth.

This position will sit at the centre of financial reporting excellence, leading robust reporting processes while remaining hands-on across international finance functions. You will work closely with EMEA teams and partner with sales and commercial stakeholders to drive insight and performance. It offers an exceptional platform for an  Financial Controller looking to gain exposure within a driven PE-backed environment.

 

Key highlights to include:

  • Salary between £65,000 - £70,000

  • Flexible start and finish times

  • 2 days WFH

  • 25 days AL + 8 BH

  • Discretionary Bonus Structure

 

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Drive financial operations for EMEA entities

  • Full production of a consolidated Management Accounts pack, including balance sheet reconciliations, KPI analysis, and commentary

  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Act as a trusted business partner with sales, commercial teams and international functions

  • Coordinating cash management, including cash flow, forecasting, and banking processes

  • Monitoring and managing Foreign Exchange requirements

  • Developing and sustaining high-level, productive relationships across the organisation and with key external advisors (legal, tax, audit)

  • Driving continuous improvement of financial processes to enhance accuracy and timeliness of information delivery

  • Providing strategic recommendations based on external business factors.

  • Monitoring and analysing external trends to inform board-level decision-making

  • Optimise cash management processes including cash flow forecasting

 

Person Specification:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
