UK wide specialist precision engineering business based in Leeds currently require a senior commercial accountant to join their rapidly expanding finance team. Working in a newly created role and reporting directly to the group finance director, you will have the opportunity to take on an exciting position that blends accounts production with commercial input that will impact and drive the wider business.
Working in the UK division with some insight into the European and US divisions your duties will include:
· Production of the monthly management accounts involved with forecasts and regular reviews of WIP providing meaningful commentary to both finance and none finance divisions.
· Assist with the preparation and review of key reports that will provide essential narrative to the operational business.
· Overview balance sheets and supporting schedules.
· Business partner with senior stake holders across the group driving commercial decisions to ensure the business remains within their ambitious growth targets.
As your experience grows you will have the opportunity to mentor and manage a team as well as take a lead role supporting the finance director in future acquisitions.
Ideally you will be:
· CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
· Able to demonstrate strong technical accounting or management accounts experience with a proven track record of adding commercial value beyond accounts production.
· An ambitious, career focused individual who wants to develop their career rapidly towards financial controller and beyond.
Package includes:
· Salary of £45-£55k DOE.
