A brand-new position has been created in line with the business growth plan and will prove to be a pivotal role within the organisation providing full accounting, financial control and commercial support ensuring the Senior Management Team are presented with accurate, relevant and timely information to allow efficient monitoring of performance and to accurately forecast future performance.

You will need to be able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks effective communication with all levels of the organisation, as well as external bodies as and when required.
Primary Responsibilities:
*Providing the primary financial and commercial support Senior Management Team
*Working closely with Directors/SMT to analyse and challenge financial and operational performance
*Preparation and presentation of monthly reporting packs
*Preparation of monthly management accounts for two subsidiaries
*Development of cashflow reporting and forecasting process
*Preparation of annual budgets and interim forecasts
*Preparation of 2-weekly flash profitability forecasts
*Maintenance of accounting system
*Stock maintenance and reconciliation
*Fixed asset maintenance and reconciliation
Person Spec:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) or Part Qualified
*Strong commercial acumen
*Good organisational skills and able to plan and prioritise own work to achieve deadlines
*Self-motivated and able to work independently
*Comfortable working alongside senior management
