Billing Manager

Job description

​Our client are a leading professional services firm based in the centre of Leeds. They currently have a vacancy for a billing manager to join their busy team.

Duties will include:

  • Leading the Billing Team.

  • Identify and provide training for team members to ensure consistent coverage across teams/practice groups.

  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and provide wider training for legal teams on correct and improved matter protocols.

  • Work closely with other Billing and Revenue Managers, Client Partners, and Practice/Product groups to improve growth within the firm.

  • Collaborate with the e-billing team and various International Operations teams including Pitch/Finance/Risk.

  • Hold internal and external stakeholder meetings, such as client partner meetings and client meetings.

  • Enhance the billing service and evolve to undertake additional billing-related activities such as the onboarding of new clients.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience and expert knowledge of billing processes within a professional services environment.

  • Sound knowledge of Excel and commercial awareness.

  • Strong communication skills for client calls and team interactions.

  • Previous knowledge of the SAP Billing System is advantageous but not essential.
