As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Management Accountant in preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, variance analysis, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting. You will also assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
* Support the Finance Manager for the end-to-end management accounts and financial reporting
* Assist with the implementation of accounting controls,
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Support in preparation of monthly site and company P&Ls
* Assist with the external audit work
* Preparation of weekly sales, wages
* Ad-hoc analysis, identifying trends to understand variances to help drive efficiencies across the business
* Supporting role in bank reconciliations
* Prepare business sheet processing and sales journal postings
* Identify better ways of doing things, driving continuous improvement and efficiencies to finance and business processes
* Other weekly and monthly reporting to supporting Operations and the wider business
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
