My client is seeking a commercially minded individual looking to develop and grow within this role therefore providing a market leading study support package - 3 days off including the exam day prior to taking each exam, highlighting the significant investment in development.
A hybrid style of working is available within this role, and you will be working directly with the Assistant Finance Manager and lining managing a team of two.

Duties and Responsibilities:
*Working with non-financial managers to ensure that costs are captured and allocated accurately along with understanding of key cost drivers, budget
*Dealing with nominal ledger tasks including processing journals, nominal ledger cross charges and period end reconciliations.
*Arrangement of accurate and timely financial reporting and interpretation of the operations on a weekly and periodic basis.
*Helping the Finance Manager with the delivery of the annual budgets and forecasts to timelines and standards.
*Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
*Reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators and non-financials to support service delivery
*Balance sheet preparation
*Involvement in projects from a finance perspective including budgetary control, forecasting and continuous improvement costings.
*Payroll reconciliations.
*Provide support to a Finance assistant in their development, progression and daily tasks
*Number 2 to Finance Manager supporting with Ad Hoc requests
Personal Attributes:
*Studying towards AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA.
*Ability to build relationships at all levels.
*Be proactive, inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams to drive performance.
*A keen eye for detail and financial controls.
*Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards.
*Have excellent PC skills and be able to understand and harness IT and systems to benefit the operation.
*Has a 'can do' attitude, demonstrating drive, energy and a commitment.
