Accounts Assistant - Worksop.
This role is for a growing, owner managed but diverse organisation, based in Worksop.
Initially this is a maternity cover vacancy for a minimum of 9 months. There is potential of permanent employment upon successful completing of the contact, of course that is not guaranteed.
The role will be busy and varied, working in part of a small finance team, covering a wide variety of duties, including:
*Daily posting of cash in the cash flow
*Daily posting of cash on Sage
*Petty cash reconciliation
*Setting payments up on bank when needed
*Weekly bank reconciliations
*Daily / Weekly reviews of Aged Debtors
*Daily Debt chasing
*Drafting late payment fees & LBA's to be signed off by Accounts Manager
*Weekly invoicing
*Scanning and distributing invoices to the customers
*Uploading sales invoices into Sage
*Customer Analysis - Profitability / KPI's / weekly revenue
*Customer & Suppliers statements reconciliation to Sage ledgers
*Dealing with international payments, posting on Sage
*Providing and raising PO's when needed and requesting PO's for sales invoices
*Attaching invoices to ledgers on Sage
*General office tasks - filing/phone calls/ reception/post etc
*Completion of ad-hoc work as specified by the Senior Management Team
*Participate in meetings as required
*Attend training as required
*Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
The hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-15:00 on Friday, there are 25 days holiday per annum (pro rata for initial 9 months fixed term contract) and the salary is up to £20k per annum.
