A qualified or part qualified accountant is required, most likely ACA, CA or ACCA (ICAEW or ICAS) with good due diligence or audit experience. A sound commercial understanding beyond the financials is highly desirable, as are analytical and report writing skills. Ideally your experience will be from a quality firm of accountants working across numerous transactions including but not limited to mergers, acquisitions, disposals and funding.
