I am recruiting a Credit Controller for a leading design and manufacturing company that provides unique turnkey services within their sector. It is a privately owned company with an annual turnover exceeding £190m.
What I am looking for is a Senior Credit Controller to take the responsibility not only for the receivables ledger, but also provide the business with regular reporting and information.

You will be working within a division of the group and you will be responsible for the overall performance of that credit control function. You will be a vital part of a pro-active finance function. The ledgers comprise multi-currency transactions within a diverse range of businesses. This role involves a high proportion of query resolution and you should have a tenacious approach to ensure these are administered in a timely manner.

Within this role you will be responsible for the overall debtor position, holding regular review meetings with the wider finance team. You will be expected to monitor, reconcile and maintain the ledgers. You will play a vital part in the monthly cashflow forecasting, submitting figures for month end reporting. Day-to-day duties include cash allocation across the entire tanks division, posting of invoices to the system, raising and monitoring applications for payment and any other tasks necessary to ensure clean and accurate sales & retention ledgers.
The successful candidate will be confident and accountable and hence we are paying up to the £34k mark for the right person.

Location: Thurnscoe, Barnsley (office based)
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am - 2pm (37.5 hours)
33 days holiday per annum (including stat)
AE pension
Non-contractual bonus scheme (6-monthly)
Electric car scheme

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years credit control/sales ledger experience, be customer focused, have the ability to communicate well with both internal and external customers, be computer literate and have a high level of accuracy. Experience within the construction industry scheme (CIS) is desirable.
