Sales Ledger Clerk

Job description

​My client based in the York area are currently looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk. This is an exciting chance to join a well known and well respected business in York.

  • Supervising sales ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and current records.

  • Monitoring and managing bad debt, including identifying overdue accounts.

  • Allocating payments, chasing overdue accounts, and resolving inquiries.

  • Assisting with month-end activities such as preparing trading reports and approving credit increases.

  • Performing monthly reconciliations of cash sales.

  • Generating and sending invoices and account statements to clients.

  • Handling and assessing new credit applications.
