A constantly growing business based in Barnsley is expanding their team following recent success and is looking for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

 

Our client harnesses a small and friendly finance function and is therefore suited to an individual who has not only sharpened their skills across purchase ledger duties, but who is personable and has a collaborative mindset. Furthermore, this role is suited to an individual who values professional growth within a business.

 

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your duties are as follow:

  • Maintain the businesses’ purchase ledger

  • Maintain accurate record keeping & input data using a range of financial systems

  • Dealing with intercompany accounts

  • Maintain positive relationships with key business contacts

  • Collaborate with wider team to ensure timely completion of tasks

  • Ad-hoc duties as required

 

What are we looking for?

  • Confident approach to key tasks listed above

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

  • Proficient in a range of financial systems (Sage experience is preferred)
