Due to continued success and a significant increase in workload, the company has created a new Purchase Ledger Clerk role to support its expanding finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to be part of a business that truly values its people and the contribution they make.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently

  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies

  • Preparing and processing payment runs

  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of queries

  • Supporting month-end processes and assisting the wider finance team as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role (ideally within a related industry)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
