​Sharp Consultancy are looking for an organised and detail-focused Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy Purchase Ledger team. This role reports into the Group Financial Controller and is based on site 5 day each week. The location of the role is close to Shipley, North Bradford.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage purchase invoices, supplier queries, and general accounts administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and promptly.

  • Matching and coding invoices in line with company procedures.

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.

  • Preparing payment runs and maintaining supplier accounts.

  • Handling supplier queries via phone and email.

  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.

About You

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy.

  • Confident using accounting software and MS Excel (Experience of using Sage accounting packages would be advantageous).

  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads.

  • Committed to an ongoing temporary role.
