They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small, but welcoming finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller.
This role will be based at the Head Office in the South of Barnsley, the hours of work will be 8:30-17:00. We are expecting a salary between £22,000 - £25,000 depending upon relevant experience.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but not exclusive to:
* Responsible for processing invoices and getting them ready for payment.
* Reconciling supplier statements and opening new accounts.
* Liaise with suppliers and maintain good relationships
* Communicate with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience of working in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable
* Previous experience of working in a finance team/function
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail
