The candidate's responsibilities will include:
* Paying invoices and credit notes in accordance with payment terms, applying payments to invoices
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Ensuring invoices are approved, whilst proactively reviewing the on-hold invoices weekly
* Liaise with admin and the other aspects of the finance department
* Ensuring invoices are coded to the nominal ledger codes.
* Proactively reviewing the on-hold invoices weekly and chasing invoices for authorisation
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Showing initiative to seek continual professional development through working closely with the management accounts team
* Key communication skills with all members of the finance team, working towards group projects
* Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team whilst also handling a high volume of personal workload
