The duties include, but are not limited to -
*Processing all invoices & credits from receipt to cleared status, whilst charging the correct general ledger account.
*Resolving queries
*Ensuring continued supply of goods by managing overdue balances.
*Build relationships with suppliers
*Raising and sending manual payments
*Raising and sending BACS payments
*Setting up new vendor accounts
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Reconciling intercompany balances
*Filing cleared and paid invoices
*Coding to prepayments and fixed assets
*Balance sheet control account checks and reconciliation
*Raising monthly journal accruals
*Posting accrual journals
*Reception & post cover
*Assisting other finance department staff during holidays and busy periods
This is a great opportunity for someone with Purchase Ledger / general accounts experience to develop their career further where you play a key role in the efficient running of the purchase ledger function.
