​Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with an impressive regional firm of Chartered Accountants to recruit a Personal Tax Senior for their growing Doncaster office.

The Role:

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will manage your own portfolio of clients including high-net-worth individuals, company directors and partnerships. You will be responsible for ensuring personal tax compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently, while also having the opportunity to work closely with Tax Partner on a range of tax planning and advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and acting as the primary point of contact.

  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax computations and returns.

  • Overseeing the annual compliance cycle across your portfolio.

  • Identifying and maximising advisory opportunities within your client base.

  • Reviewing work produced by junior members of the team and providing guidance where required.

  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff.

About You

  • ATT or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience).

  • Proven experience managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients within practice.

  • Strong technical knowledge across personal tax compliance.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • A proactive approach with an interest in developing advisory skills.
