You will be responsible for processing the end to end payroll of over 500 staff weekly and monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and legal requirements. To process all statutory payments and apply rules to reconcile data for payments both to employees and HMRC. On top of this you will also be responsible for overseeing 2 more junior members of the team who will provide you with support. You will also liaise with HR and finance departments, handle queries from staff and external agencies, and prepare reports and reconciliations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar Payroll position, end to end payroll processing and reconciling payroll accounts is a must
- A good working knowledge of payroll software and using formulas on excel
- A high level of numeracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and confidential approach
