I am recruiting a Payroll Team Leader for a fast-growing business in Rotherham.

The role has 2 key objectives. Firstly leading a team of payroll administrators and payroll controllers, including all day-to-day task management, meeting targets and deadlines as well as ongoing training and development. Secondly supporting the Head of Payroll in the continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and systems.

There are around 8 staff and the team process the full UK in house payroll for over 3,500 employees, with a range of T&C across weekly and monthly payrolls.

Salary £30k.

It comes with 25 days holiday + statutory leave.

Full time hours are 37.5 hours per week and start and finish times can be agreed.

Hybrid working is an option for those that would prefer to work part of the week remotely, although as a Team Leader you will want to be in the office to manage your staff as much as possible.

Study support for CIPP is also available for anyone who wants to pursue further qualification.

I am looking for a candidate with excellent payroll knowledge and experience of a Team Leader / Supervisory or managerial duties.
