Payroll Coordinator in Sheffield

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Manufacturing business based in an easily accessible part of Sheffield as they look for a Payroll Coordinator to join their team on a part time and permanent basis. The primary purpose of this role is to prepare and compile the payroll monthly and to make sure that people are paid correctly

This role would be for 15 hours per week, which can be split however the chosen candidate would prefer. There is also some flexibility regarding hybrid working. This role is perfect for someone that needs the flexibility and that would like to work within a productive finance department.

This role will include:
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently monthly.
- Collect, calculate, and enter data in order to maintain payroll information
- Process and submit pay rate changes, new starters, and leavers, P45's, pensions, transfers, tax codes and staff benefits.
- Update holidays, absences, and any clock in anomalies
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll to external partner
- Review payslips
- Resolve payroll discrepancies

Skills and experience:

- 2 to 3 years Payroll experience
- High attention to detail
- Able to work with integrity and respect
- Effective communicator
- Dependant and reliable

15 hours a week (flexible)
Up to £25,000 FTE
