Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing VAT returns. The Bookkeeper will also assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and support the end-of-year audit process. Applicants should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and a keen eye for detail.
Ideally this business is looking for someone with a proven track record in bookkeeping, ideally within an SME environment. Qualifications such as AAT, or equivalent experience, are highly desirable. The ability to work independently, coupled with excellent organisational and communication skills, is essential.
