Step Into a Senior Role Within a Growing Credit Control Function

Are you an experienced credit professional ready to take on more responsibility? This role offers the chance to support a busy credit control team, drive strong cash collection performance, and play a key part in maintaining excellent customer relationships. Working closely with the Regional Credit Manager, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of the department while contributing to continuous improvement across processes and reporting.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supporting day to day credit control operations, overseeing key customer accounts, and helping the team meet critical performance targets. This is a varied role that blends hands on collections work with team support, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership when required.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Collection:

  • Help the credit control team achieve all cash collection KPIs and performance standards.

  • Take responsibility for a selection of priority accounts, ensuring timely and full recovery of outstanding payments.

  • Resolve blocked orders efficiently to minimise delays.

  • Attend onsite meetings or customer visits alongside local sales teams where necessary.

  • Deliver a customer focused and professional service at all times.

  • Confidently challenge decisions to support positive outcomes for the business.

Desirable:

  • CICM qualification, or currently studying towards it.

  • Additional training or certification in finance, customer service, or business administration.

  • Experience supporting or supervising colleagues, especially in the absence of a manager.
