A brand-new opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Accountant to join an established manufacturing business based in Rotherham. Following completion of a successful acquisition and the continuous release of new products, this business shows no signs of stopping their continued growth.
This position is ideal for candidates who are working towards a professional qualification, have costing experience and are looking to further develop their skillset within a specialist manufacturing business. The role will allow for exposure across the wider business, with a focus on financial controls and reporting across the manufacturing and sales divisions.
Duties will include:
* Production of monthly manufacturing reports - including stock levels, WIP and labour efficiency
* Preparation of General Ledger financial journals and month-end accounts
* Production of monthly management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintenance of customer pricing and master data files
* Assisting in the production and audit of annual accounts
* Processing monthly payroll
* Completing VAT returns and overseeing monthly tax analysis
* Overseeing the Foreign Currency, Petty Cash and Bank accounts
Person Specification:
* Part-Qualified or Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
* Manufacturing experience desirable
