The business requires a Manufacturing Accountant to join their dynamic finance team who will be responsible for developing and delivering accurate and timely management accounts and production reporting information to support the business as well as recognising key areas of improvement and profitability.
There will be multi-site responsibility and represents a superb opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a successful and growing business in a fast-paced role that will form a crucial link between finance and the wider business with a study support package on offer also.
Duties include:
*Prepare Monthly Management Accounts (Including P&L and Balance Sheet)
*Proactively identify process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy of reporting
*Prepare month end balance reconciliation
*Establish cost models for the business to assist senior management and support pricing decisions in assessing profitability of current products and new opportunities.
*Stock management
*Assist the CFO with budgeting and forecasting as required
*Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
*Business partnering with operational teams and conducting departmental budget reviews (Actual Vs Budget vs Forecast)
*Oversee and manage accounts and external payroll
*Management and administration of company pension, life insurance and health care schemes
*Assist in the completion of the external audit work and internal delivery requests, producing informative analysis when required
*Develop strong working relationships with Group stakeholders and a thorough understanding of group reporting requirements
*Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider Group finance team to support completion of key deliverables
*Continuous improvement of systems and processes
*Assist with Ad-Hoc Projects
