About the Role:

As a Management Accountant, you will be pivotal in leading and managing the finance function. Reporting directly into a qualified Head of Finance, you'll take charge of the day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and analysis, all while aligning with the company's strategic goals. You’ll be working in a friendly, collaborative setting that values your expertise and offers real opportunity for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute departmental strategy, 90-day goals, KPAs, and performance metrics.

  • Oversee daily financial operations including banking, reconciliations, and sales ledger management.

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, P&L, cash flow forecasts, and management accounts.

  • Ensure accurate and timely VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to inform key business decisions.

  • Maintain robust financial systems, processes, and internal controls.

  • Manage company assets, equipment, and depreciation schedules.

  • Actively contribute to the company’s vision, values, and positive culture.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support in financial planning, cost control, and profitability analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial risks.

  • Evaluate capital investments and track ROI to ensure high-value returns.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Solid experience in management accounting or a similar finance role.

  • Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work under pressure.

  • A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
